Motivation :O

As of right now my motivation is not as high as it could be. I know that now that the semester is almost over, is the worst time to lose motivation in my school work. The reason for it being low is because I already want to get out of school and stop worrying about homework, essays and other kind of school work. I’m not really stressing about doing the work or anything, I just don’t want to have to do work when id rather do something else, because I’m a really lazy person. I recently found out I don’t have a passing grade in one of my classes so that’s going to be my motivation to start doing the work and doing well on the tests n stuff. The thing that’s going to keep me motivated is the love I have for my mother because she works hard as a single mother of three. If she can work hard for herself and for my brothers and me, I at least owe it to her to not disappoint her with a bad grade. All she asks of us is to go to school and get good grades, and to do the chores around the house other than that we could do pretty much whatever we want, legal of course. I’m feeling pretty good about this and I know I’m going to pass all my classes because I’ve never failed a class before and I’m not going to start now.

  1. I think its sweet that you admit your Mom is your inspiration. Its interesting how you started off as negative but ended with triumphant, motivational words. Goodluck!

  2. Wish I could say the same about never having failed a class, and I understand how you don't want to disappoint your mother. My mother was devastated when I showed her that I ended my semester with a failing grade. I doubt that you will do the same, you seem to have found plenty of confidence in finding out how you plan to go about your classes from here on out. Good luck.

  3. It's great that you have a strong influence from your mother to make it through school. College is one thing that I've recently found out that you can't be lazy in, cause it just screws you over in the end. But since your finding motivation I'm sure you'll be fine.

  4. I am proud of you by you wanting to make your mom proud. I think that it is a very strong motivation to keep you going on. It's hard to do homework and go to classes that you might not like, but just remember that with every class you finish, you'll be closer to graduating or transfering. Good luck and make your mom proud! :)
